The unveiling continues.

I am basking in a sea of joy since last Saturday. I was on my way out of town to meet Sandy, Lynne, and Christine for a round of winter golf. We are thrilled to pick up our golf clubs and stay in practice at Bass Rocks Golf Club’s Trackman. The simulator is much more forgiving than the actual course which makes comparing our skill to it in this virtual environment a lot of fun.

Before I got on Route 128 toward Gloucester, my husband called to say my memoir proof had arrived from the printer. I did not hesitate, “I am turning around, the ladies will understand when explain why I was late.” The package was supposed to arrive on Monday. I suppressed the urge to step on the pedal and stayed as close to the 20 mile per hour speed limit as my excitement would allow.

I could not wait to see the result of all the manuscript edits, the interior and cover design edits. I clutched the brown manilla envelope against my pounding chest before I opened it. And there it was the cover as I envisioned it to be-beautiful. I had asked Charles, my husband, to document the moment with photographs. I had seen other authors post on social media similar scenes and I had made a mental note, I will do that.

Thank you for your interest in my book’s progress.
