My best wishes for good health, peace of mind, joy, and happiness in the new year.
I did not think I would have anything else to say about December, but I can’t help but write about this exciting time of year.
I make it my goal to deck the halls and finish all the decorating for Christmas by the end of the first week in December. And Tah Dah, Monday December 4, the house became a winter wonderland!

Having the decorating behind me, Charles and I could enjoy our festive surroundings and be free to bake all the Greek goodies, entertain, go to parties, and just enjoy ourselves for the rest of the season.
Okay, I did not spend the entire month playing. I also did some future planning for book events, for Taxi to America, and I took part in a Jolabokaflod at the Wenham Museum in Wenham, MA.

And as if all the decorations in our home weren’t enough to put us into the spirit of Christmas, attending the spectacular performance of “A Christmas Carol” at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA as it does every time intensified our spirits.

Another memorable event took place at the Consulate General of Greece in Boston. It offered us the opportunity to see people we may otherwise not have seen during this busy season. Several groups of children representing the Boston area Greek Churches delighted the full house with traditional Greek Christmas Carols.
