It takes a Village
According to The Free Dictionary by Farflex on idioms “It takes a village proverb-Many people’s help or involvement is needed to achieve some goal. A shortening of the proverb. It takes a village to raise a child.” The idiom “It takes a village,” is used to acknowledge that others were involved in achieving a particular project.
In my case, it is the completion of my memoir. Taxi in America is in its final stage because of the contribution the talented individuals with whom I had the fortune to work. You will know who these individuals are soon. Today I want to tell you who the mayor of my village has been for the past week. Yes, during the Holiday week, Judy Davison, my book cover and text designer, worked to get the final copy ready for print. So today, I am giving a humongous shout out to Judy for getting us to this point.
