According to the American Automobile Association (AAA) travel during the Thanksgiving holiday was expected to reach the pre-pandemic-volume. Whether you traveled near or far or stayed home, I trust you enjoyed a safe and blessed Thanksgiving celebration. Personally, I was under the weather and cancelled our plans to spend the holiday with family. However, good things abounded for me and gave me more for which to be grateful.
One by one they arrived. Despite their busy schedules, my generous readers emailed their testimonials /blurbs for my memoir by the deadline I had given them. We know how everyone’s day loads up during this time of year, so when they accepted the task, I was elated. Their commitment and response to my request are a testament to the goodness which surrounds all of us.
My heart took extra beats as I basked in the accolades I read in each blurb. All the readers enjoyed reading Taxi to America and gave it a thumbs up. Their comments are confirmation that I expressed and conveyed, through my writing, the events and emotions that shaped my life. I am grateful for their gift of time.
Another weekend accomplishment was my website. After much collaboration, many zoom meetings, discussions, and an enormous learning curve for me; Tom Dennesen of Concept Compass, and I completed all the work necessary to achieve a website for which we are proud.
I am grateful for all my blessings, and for all of you visiting my website.
